Thank you. I’ve always believed in numbers and the equations and logics that lead to reason.
ご臨席賜り有難う。さて、私はいつも数や、方程式や、論理というものが、理由につながるものだと考えてきた。
But after a lifetime of such pursuits, I ask,
"What truly is logic?"
"Who decides reason?"
しかし探究の人生の中で私は自問してきた。
何が本当の論理なのか？
何が理由を決定するのか？
My quest has taken me through the physical, the metaphysical, the delusional -- and back.
私の問いは物理、哲学、妄想を超え、そして出発地点まで戻ってきた。
And I have made the most important discovery of my career, the most important discovery of my life: It is only in the mysterious equations of love that any logic or reasons can be found.
経歴、人生の中での最大の発見を成し遂げたのだ。愛という謎めいた方程式の中にだけ、あらゆる論理と理由が見いだされるのだ。
I’m only here tonight because of you [wife, Alicia].
私は今夜、君（妻に向けて）のためだけにここにいる。
You are the reason I am.
君は僕の理由だ。
